Hi business owners, do you know, how an English-speaking class, focused on their unique benefit point and converted their business into 290+ branches? Do you also want to grow your business by focusing on your unique benefit point?
Then let’s go, today with this English-speaking class’s example, I will explain to you how much you should focus on your unique benefit point so that even your business becomes a brand! So, friends, I want you to read this example carefully, take out points and implement them into your business because of which your business should grow exponentially.
So what is Unique Benefit Point? It is very simple. A unique benefit point is that whenever a customer buys your product or service, then what is his benefit? So the more the benefit of the customer, the more the value created by your product or services, and more the money that your business earns. Because of this, your business grows a lot in the long term and becomes a brand. Simply if you take your unique benefit point seriously and focus on it, then your business grows rapidly.
In this example, the owner of this English-speaking class, started his classes, just like how anyone else would. He made classrooms, hired teachers, advertised extensively, and eventually students started to gather. In these classrooms, they were taught different techniques of spoken English, and different shortcuts of communication. Then these were given homework, which the students completed from home, and came to the lectures. It was the responsibility of the teachers to make sure that their students, spoke English in a proper manner. So teachers would have this homework done for their students accordingly, and improve their English.
But when the owner used to look at all this, he used to feel weird. He used to think, no, the students should learn to speak English more naturally rather than, in this academic manner. He did not like the technique in which the students were not enjoying themselves. So in order to improve, he started interacting with the students. He started taking their opinion on what they liked, and what they did not like, trying to understand their perspective. While doing all this what he understood was that the unique benefit point of his business was that students should learn English and the environment in which they learned it mattered a lot. In some environments, some students would grasp concepts a lot quicker, whereas in some environments like a classroom and a teacher, they would not perform so well.
As soon as he understood this point, he implied a quite unique technique. The first thing that he did was install a world-class cafe on his premises for the students to communicate in. The environment of the cafe was very informal. He instructed his students that get involved in the environment, drink coffee, and converse in English with each other. What this did was encouraged the students a lot.
Later, they installed a BPO, a glassdoor office, in his premises, to install a formal setting. He introduced them to his students and told them to interact with each other in these formal settings, while wearing blazers and formal wear, to really adapt them to the setting.
What this did was that the confidence of the students skyrocketed after this exercise and directly resulted in improvement in their spoken English. But they did not stop there, they created a boardroom, where again in a formal setting, had to enact a meeting while speaking in English. In every interview or every position, where they had to speak English, their confidence was shining through. This business owner did not just stop there, he saw Hollywood movies, noted all the best dialogues, and instructed his students, how it is delivered in these movies, this increased their interest magnificently.
What this did is, it got the students the correct environment for them to learn English naturally, and in turn, it gave a substantial rise in their success rate too. This was seen prevalently when they expanded out to their branches because their courses had such a demand. Just like this, they developed over 290 branches of their business and became a very well-known brand.
What Did We Learn?
